Who am I? This question reminds me of an essay assignment from my AP English teacher my senior year in high school.
I don't know if I can accurately portray who I am on a webpage, but I can give you some hints:
*mother of 4 amazing children who keep my hopping day after day (you'd think I would be thinner)
*wife to your Friendly Neighborhood WheelGuy.....well, if you live in the lower Willamette Valley anyway (what a mighty good man!)
*artisan of my very own homemade business for handmade things at http://www.lemonadesun.etsy.com/
*lover of the simple, natural, quiet country life
* I am a Holy Spirit filled Christian woman who loves being a wife and mother.....a home-maker. It is what I was designed for. But not the ONLY thing I was designed for by a long shot.
* I am a country girl to the core. Big cities drive me nuts. I have no patience for the hustle and bustle and noise of them all. Too many people, not enough room. A little furlough into the city can be fun at times, but drains me of my precious energy far too quickly and I find myself longing for the peaceful quiet of the country again. It is home to me.
* my friends half-jokingly nicknamed me "Martha McGuiver" because they are convinced I can do anything. I tend to agree. I do not always succeed, but I will almost always give it a try.
* I love color. In all forms. Leave it to a masterfully creative God to make something so simple and give it the power to transform a person's attitude and outlook. I am in awe.
* I love making things. My hands are almost NEVER without a project. I have lists of projects that I hope to get to some day.
